명절을 맞아 협력업체들이 일시적으로 급여 및 상여금, 원자재 대금 등으로 자금 수요가 집중되는부담을 덜어주기 위함으로 ㈜서한은 지난 설을 앞두고도 자금 수요가 많은 협력사 부담을 덜어주고자 공사·자재대금 629억원을 조기 현금 지급한 바 있다.

이번 조기 집행에 따라 협력업체들은 하도급 대금 657억원을 전액 현금으로 지급 받았다. 이번 조기 집행으로 혜택을 받은 협력사는 모두 149개사로 공사 대금을 조기 지급 받아 대목 자금 운용에 숨통이 트이게 되었다.

㈜서한 김병준 전무이사는 "이번 공사대금 조기지급으로 원자재 가격 상승과 건설 경기 부진으로경영에 어려움을 겪고 있는 협력업체들에게 도움이 되길 기대한다."라며 "앞으로도 협력업체들과의상생 및 상호협력에 최선을 다하겠다."라고 말했다.

한편 협력업체와의 상생을 강조해온 서한은 협력업체들을 위한 다양한 기술지원 등의 노력을 해왔는데 이러한 노력을 인정받아 2017년부터 올해까지 8년 연속 국토교통부가 실시한 건설업체 간 상호협력 평가에서95점 이상(최우수등급)을 획득, 상호협력 최우수 건설업체로 선정됐다.
