【브레이크뉴스 김천】진예솔 기자=김천대학교 치위생학과 학술동아리 ‘우생순’이 한국치위생학회가 주최한 2024년 종합학술대회에서 포스터 우수상을 수상했다고 15일 밝혔다.

박영남 교수와 학부생들로 구성된 학술동아리 우생순은 ‘ChatGPT의 사용과 교육에서의 활용에 대한 이해’를 주제로 진행된 학술대회에 총 2편의 포스터를 발표했다.

대회에서 이지수 학생이 발표를 진행한 ‘치과용 디지털 장비 시스템의 사용에 대한 치과전문 종사자들의 인식’ 논문이 포스터 우수상을 받았다.

박영남 교수는 “매년 학부생들이 학술동아리 활동을 통해 학술대회에 참여해 논문을 작성하는 과정을 통해 치위생 학문에 대한 관심과 연구 역량을 향상시킬 수 있었으며, 이러한 성과를 바탕으로 우수한 능력을 발휘하는 치과위생사로 성장할 것이라 기대한다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

 Kimcheon University Dental Hygiene Department Academic Club ‘Woosungsoon’ announced on the 15th that it won the Poster Excellence Award at the 2024 General Academic Conference hosted by the Korean Society of Dental Hygiene.

Woosungsoon, an academic club comprised of Professor Park Young-nam and undergraduate students, presented a total of two posters at the academic conference held under the theme of ‘Understanding the Use of ChatGPT and Its Use in Education.’

At the conference, the paper titled ‘Dental Professionals’ Perception of the Use of Digital Dental Equipment Systems’ presented by student Lee Ji-soo won the Poster Excellence Award.

Professor Park Young-nam said, “Every year, undergraduate students have been able to improve their interest in dental hygiene and their research capabilities through academic club activities and the process of writing papers at academic conferences. Based on these achievements, I expect them to grow into dental hygienists with excellent abilities.”
