【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구시는 지난 20일 산격청사 회의실에서 공무원들의 자발적인 참여와 연구를 통해 업무역량을 높이고 연구 결과를 정책에 반영하기 위해 실시한 정책연구모임의 연구성과 발표대회를 가졌다.

21일 대구시에 따르면 정책연구모임은 공무원들이 스스로 학습하여 직무능력을 배양하고, 전문가와 함께하는 정책연구를 통해 연구의 내실화를 기하고 시정 과제의 실행력을 높이고자 ‘힐링 한걸음’, ‘마음충전소’, ‘일자리 Job고! 대구에 살GO!’ 등 9개 팀이 과제 분야 전문가들과 함께 활발한 정책연구 활동을 진행했다.

이날 발표대회에는 제안실무위원회의 1차 서면 심사를 통과한 3개 팀이 참가해 연구 성과를 발표했으며, 2024년 정책연구모임 연구보고서 제안심사위원회 심사 결과 금상, 은상, 동상 각 1팀이 선정됐다.

금상은 ‘교량 위 극단적 선택(투신) 방지 방안에 대한 연구’를 주제로 발표한 ‘달성군119라이프세이버’ 팀(달성소방서 등 2개 부서), 은상은 ‘공공와이파이 제도개선 및 활성화 연구’를 주제로 발표한 ‘공공와이파이 제도개선 연구반’(총무과 등 2개 부서), 동상은 ‘대구시 아동·청소년 정신건강 통합적 지원체계 구축 방안’을 주제로 발표한 ‘마음충전소’ 팀(종합복지회관 관리사무소 등 2개 부서)이 수상했다.

특히 금상을 받은 ‘달성군119라이프세이버’ 팀은 빈번히 발생하는 국내외 교량 투신 사고를 조사·분석해 대구 지역에 적용할 수 있는 실효성 있는 방지 대책 방안을 제시하여 심사위원들로부터 높은 점수를 받았다.

황순조 대구시 기획조정실장은 “한 해 동안 수행한 정책연구 성과를 공유하고 정책 개선을 위한 창의적인 아이디어와 혁신적 해결책을 제시해 준 직원들의 노력에 감사드린다”며, “이러한 연구성과들을 정책에 반영하고 다양한 형태로 확산하여 더 많은 공무원들이 정책연구에 동참할 수 있도록 적극 지원해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The gold award went to the ‘Dalseong-gun 119 Lifesaver’ team (Dalseong Fire Station and 2 other departments) for their presentation on ‘Study on Prevention of Extreme Choices (Jumps) from Bridges’, the silver award went to the ‘Public Wi-Fi System Improvement Research Group’ (General Affairs Department and 2 other departments) for their presentation on ‘Study on Improving and Activating the Public Wi-Fi System’, and the bronze award went to the ‘Mind Charging Station’ team (General Welfare Center Management Office and 2 other departments) for their presentation on ‘Establishing an Integrated Support System for Mental Health for Children and Adolescents in Daegu’.

In particular, the ‘Dalseong-gun 119 Lifesaver’ team, which received the gold award, received high scores from the judges for investigating and analyzing frequent domestic and international bridge jumping accidents and presenting effective prevention measures that can be applied to the Daegu region.

Hwang Sun-jo, the head of the Daegu City Planning and Coordination Office, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the employees who shared the results of their policy research conducted over the past year and presented creative ideas and innovative solutions for policy improvement,” and added, “We will actively support reflecting these research results in policies and disseminating them in various forms so that more public officials can participate in policy research.”
