군에 따르면 이번 행사는 경북사회복지공동모금회가 주최하고 영양군이 후원하는 나눔 캠페인의 시작을 알리고 나눔 문화를 확산해 군민들의 기부 참여를 독려하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 제막식에는 오도창 영양군수와 김영범 영양군의회 의장, 사랑의열매 나눔봉사단 이인형 단장, 영양군지역사회보장협의체 등 20여 명이 참석해 나눔 온도를 올리며 캠페인의 시작을 알렸다.

‘희망2025나눔캠페인’은‘기부로 나를 가치있게! 기부로 영양을 가치있게!’라는 슬로건으로 내년 1월 31일까지 62일간 진행되며 캠페인 기간동안 모여진 성금은 경북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 저소득가구와 사회복지시설지원 등 복지사업에 쓰일 예정이다.

오도창 영양군수는 “경기는 어렵지만, 더 어려운 이웃을 위한 나눔이 절실한 때이다.”라며, 군민들의 온기와 나눔으로 사랑의 온도탑이 100도까지따뜻하게 올라가길 바란다.”라고전했다.
