【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원)은 지난 5일 일본 도야마현 호쿠리쿠전력 본사에서 호쿠리쿠전력과 수력 분야 기술협력을 위한 MOU를 체결했다고 6일 밝혔다.

이날 협약을 통해 양 사는 수력발전사업의 지속적 발전을 위한 협력 도모, 수력 분야 기술협력 파트너십 강화, 양 사간 인적교류 및 수력 분야 기술지원 협업등을 통한 네트워크 구축 등에 적극 협력하기로 했다.

윤상조 한수원 그린사업본부장은 “우리나라 최대 수력발전 운영사이자 유일한 발전용 댐 운영사인 한수원과 일본 도야마현 대표수력발전 운영사인 호쿠리쿠전력이 긴밀히 협력해 양 사의 운영 노하우 등 기술협력을 활발히 하고, 수력산업 발전에도 이바지하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

오다 미츠히로 호쿠리쿠전력 재생에너지본부장은 “오늘 한수원과 수력분야 기술협력 파트너십을 체결해 매우 기쁘다”라며, “이번 협력을 계기로 양 사의 실질적인 성과 창출을 위해 지속적으로 교류해 양국 대표 수력 선도기업이 시너지를 창출할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (President Hwang Joo-ho, hereinafter referred to as KHNP) announced on the 6th that it signed an MOU for technical cooperation in the hydroelectric power sector with Hokuriku Electric Power at the Hokuriku Electric Power headquarters in Toyama Prefecture, Japan on the 5th.

Mitsuhiro Oda, Director of Hokuriku Electric Power Company’s Renewable Energy Division, said, “I am very pleased to have signed a partnership agreement for technical cooperation in the hydropower sector with Hanwha Solutions today,” and added, “We will continue to engage in exchanges to produce tangible results for both companies, and strive to create synergy between the two countries’ leading hydropower companies.”
