31일 안동시에 따르면 2024년도 안동시 시정 운영에 대한 만족도 조사 결과, 긍정적 평가가 70.4%(긍정평가 70.4%, 부정평가 21.7%, 모름 7.9%)로 집계됐다.

성별로는 여성(73.6%)이 남성(67.0%)에 비해 만족도가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연령층별로는 장년층(76.1%), 청년층(66.2%), 중년층(66.0%) 순으로 높았고, 지역별로 읍면지역(71.7%)이 동지역(69.8%)에 비해 만족도가 더 높았다.

이와 함께, 각종 정책 사업에 대한 만족도 평가에서는 △중앙선 도담~영천 구간 완전 개통에 대한 주민 만족도가 89.9%로 가장 높게 나타났다.

이어 △상수도 요금 50% 감면(긍정평가 86.0%) △교육발전특구 시범지역 선정(긍정평가 84.7%) △기회발전특구 지정(긍정평가 83.3%) △바이오 국가첨단전략산업 특화단지 선정(긍정평가 83.1%) △수페스타, 문화유산야행관광객 유치(긍정평가 81.6%) △대한민국 문화도시 지정 및 K­Play hub-안동 사업추진(긍정평가 80.3%) △안동국제탈춤페스티벌 역대 최대 방문객유치(긍정평가 78.1%) 순으로 나타났다.

권기창 안동시장은 “민선 8기에 수확한 지방시대 3대 특구, 바이오 국가첨단전략산업 특화단지 등 안동의 신성장동력에 많은 시민이 큰 호응을 보여주셔서 감사하다”라며 “앞으로도 위대한 시민의 기대에 부응하며 활력 넘치는 성장도시를 만들어가기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.

한편, 이번 여론조사는 안동시 의뢰로 ㈜코리아정보리서치에서 12월 26일부터 27일까지 안동시에 거주하는 만 18세 이상 성인 남녀 1,003명(응답률7.0%)을 대상으로 유선전화 ARS 방식(RDD 무작위 표본 추출)으로 진행했다. 표본오차는 95% 신뢰수준에 ±3.1%포인트다.
