【브레이크뉴스 영양】이성현 기자=영양군(군수 오도창)은 지난해에 이어 을사년 새해를 맞아 지역사회에 따뜻한 마음을 전하는 다양한 기부가 이어지고 있다고 전했다.

7일 영양군에 따르면 영양여자중학교(교장 김옥순) 학생 대표와 지도교사 등 3명은 지난 6일 영양군에 45만 원의 기부금을 전달했다.

이번 기부금은 학교 축제에 학생들이 직접 운영한 동아리 부스 활동 수익금과 교직원들의 적극적 참여로 마련됐으며, 우리가 살고 있는 지역의 어려운 이웃들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 좋을 것 같다는 학생들의 의견에 따라 기부하게 됐다.

영양여자중학교 2학년 박서현 학생은 “학교에서 배운 나눔을 이렇게 직접 실천해 볼 수 있어 뿌듯하고, 모든 학생들과 함께 참여할 수 있어 더욱 뜻깊다.”라고 소감을 전했다.

또 금일 영양조명전기(대표 김기준)는 지역 내 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 성금 500만 원을 기부했다. 

김기준 대표는 “값진 일에 동참할 수 있어 기쁘다. 앞으로도 지역사회를 위해 의미 있는 나눔을 계속 실천하겠다.”라고 말했다.

Yeongyang-gun, donations to convey warm hearts continue this year

Yeongyang-gun (Governor Oh Do-chang) reported that various donations to convey warm hearts to the local community are continuing this year, following last year.

According to Yeongyang-gun on the 7th, three students, including a student representative and an instructor from Yeongyang Girls' Middle School (Principal Kim Ok-soon), donated 450,000 won to Yeongyang-gun on the 6th.

This donation was made through the proceeds from the club booth activities run by the students themselves at the school festival and the active participation of the faculty and staff, and the donation was made based on the students' opinion that it would be good to be of some help to the underprivileged neighbors in the area where we live.

Park Seo-hyun, a 2nd-year student at Yeongyang Girls' Middle School, said, "I am proud to be able to practice the sharing I learned at school in this way, and it is even more meaningful to be able to participate with all the students."

In addition, Yeongyang Lighting Electric (CEO Kim Ki-jun) donated 5 million won today to be used for the underprivileged neighbors in the area.
