【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북 칠곡군 약목역에서 70대 남성이 열차에 치여 숨지는 사고가 발생했다.

9일 오전 11시 10분께 선로에 무단 진입한 70대 남성은 구미발 동대구행 대경선(대구·경북선) 열차와 충돌해 사망했다.

이 사고로 해당 열차에 타고 있던 승객 80여명이 후속 열차로 환승했고 열차는 20분 가량 지연됐다.

경찰은 남성의 신원과 정확한 사고 원인에 대해 현재 조사를 진행 중이다.

사고 열차는 동대구역 인근 차량기지에 자력으로 입고했으며 점검받을 예정이다.
