【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시가 어르신 소득활동 지원을 위해 지난 1월부터 시작한 노인일자리 사업은 지난해 보다 184명 늘어난 4420명에게 제공되며 사업비는 지난해 180억원 보다 7억4800만원 증액된 187억4800만원이 투입된다.

앞서 지난해 12월 노인일자리 참여자 모집 결과 5561명이 신청해 어르신들의 뜨거운 사회활동 참여 열기를 느낄 수 있었다.

이번 노인일자리는 △노인공익활동사업(3500명) △노인역량활용사업(610명) △공동체사업단(310명) 등 유형별로 3개 분야로 나눠진행된다.

노인공익활동사업은 65세 이상 기초연금 수급자 및 직역연금수급자(배우자 포함한 기준 충족 자)를 대상으로 노노케어, 공공시설봉사 등의 활동을 진행한다.

하루 3시간 이내, 월 30시간(11개월) 근무하고 활동비 29만 원이 지급된다. 노인역량활용사업은 65세 이상 어르신이 복지시설 및 금융기관 등에서 월 60시간(10개월) 활동하고 63만여 원을 받는다.

어르신들은 보육교사 보조, 노인‧장애인 보호시설, 금융기관업무 보조영역에서 서비스를 제공한다. 공동체사업단은 60세 이상 어르신이 실버카페 등 소규모 매장을 비롯해 박물관, 보건지소 등에서 근무하고 발생한 수익금에 따라 활동비(12개월)가 분배된다.

시는 노인일자리사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 경북경주시니어클럽, 대한노인회경주시지회, 경주문화원, 하나재가노인통합지원센터, 경주시사회복지협의회 등 5개 기관을 수행기관으로 지정해 오는 12월까지 운영한다.

향후 시는 노인일자리사업을 지속적으로 확대할 뿐만 아니라 다양한 유형의 일자리를 더욱 발굴해 어르신들의 사회참여 활동을 지속적으로 지원하고 건강한 노후생활을 보장할 방침이다.

주낙영 경주시장은 “앞으로도 어르신들이 건강하고 활기찬 노후를 보낼 수 있도록 다양한 일자리 마련 등 노인 복지정책 추진에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

In order to smoothly promote the senior job creation project, the city has designated five organizations, including Gyeongbuk Gyeongju Senior Club, Gyeongju Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, Gyeongju Cultural Center, Hana Jaega Senior Citizen Integrated Support Center, and Gyeongju Social Welfare Council, as implementing organizations and will operate them until December.

In the future, the city plans to continuously expand the senior job creation project and discover more diverse types of jobs to continuously support senior citizens’ social participation activities and ensure a healthy life in old age.
