6일 군에 따르면 행정안전부는 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 총 554개 기관을 대상으로 정보공개 운영실적을 사전정보, 원문공개, 청구공개, 고객관리, 제도운영 5개 분야 11개 지표로 나누어 종합평가를 실시하고 그 결과를 공개했다.

청송군은 군민들이 정보공개를 청구하기 전에 필요로 하는 정보를 선제적이고 능동적으로 홈페이지를 통해 사전에 공개하는 사전정보 분야에서 높은 점수를 받았으며, 정보공개 청구처리 절차의 적합성 등에서 우수한 점수를 획득했다.

또한 공무원이 생산한 정보를 별도의 청구가 없더라도 원문 그대로를 공개하는 원문공개 분야에서도 좋은 평가를 얻는 등 전 분야에서 고르게 높은 점수를 받았다.

올해 최우수 등급을 받은 경북 지방자체단체는 청송군과 칠곡군 두 곳뿐이다. 청송군은 2019년 처음으로 정보공개 종합평가를 실시한 이후 총 6차례 평가 중 2023년과 2020년 두 차례 우수 등급을 제외한 나머지 4차례 모두 최우수기관으로 선정되었으며, 이를 통해 행정의 투명성과 책임성을 강화하고 군민의 알 권리 증진에 선도적인 역할을 하고 있다.

윤경희 청송군수는 “청송군은 군민들에게 신속하고 정확한 정보 제공을 위해 항상 최선을 다하고 있으며, 앞으로도 정보공개 업무를 더욱 강화하여 군민들의 알 권리와 행정의 투명성을 한층 높여가겠다.”라고 말했다.
