이번 행사에는 박태하 감독을 비롯해 주장단인 완델손, 한찬희, 이동희 선수와 팀의 맏형 신광훈 선수가 참여했으며, 선수 사인회 및 올해 경기 일정과 선수들의 모습이 담긴 경기 달력을 배부해 팬들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.

이날 시즌 예매권은 42% 할인된 가격으로 특별판매됐으며, 이강덕 시장은 현장에서 시즌 예매권을 구매하면서 포항스틸러스에 대한 응원을 아끼지 않았다.

또한 포항스틸러스 선수단 응원 메시지 이벤트 공간인 STEEL POWER존 운영 및 스틸러스의 마스코트인 쇠돌이·쇠순이와 함께 코리아컵 우승 기념 포토존도 운영돼 눈길을 끌었다.
