【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시의회(의장 김일만)는 10일 남·북구청을 방문해 2025년 구청 각 부서별 주요업무에 대해 보고받고 읍‧면‧동 현안 사항을 점검했다고 밝혔다.

이날 의원들은 양 구청장으로부터 주요업무 계획 보고를 받은 후 각종 시책에 대해 질의하고 개선사항과 대안을 제시하며 적극적인 민생 챙기기에 나섰다.

주요업무 계획을 청취한 의원들은 구청 및 읍·면·동 업무 대부분이 시민 생활과 직결된 만큼, 시민들의 작은 불편과 목소리에도 귀 기울여 시민들이 실질적인 개선을 체감할 수 있는 생활 밀착형·시민 체감형 정책들을 적극 추진해 줄 것을 강조했다.

이어, 냉천교·인덕교 재가설 공사등 힌남노 재해복구사업의 안전하고 신속한 추진으로 교통정체 등 주민불편 최소화, 태풍 및 집중호우로 인한 재난재해에 철저한 대비 및 도로·도로시설물 정비를 통한 안전한 지역사회 건설 추진, 주거환경개선사업의 적극행정 추진으로 주민들의 정주여건 개선방안 마련 등을 당부했다.

김일만 의장은 “지역발전과 시민행복을 위해 계획된 2025년도 업무가 차질없이 추진될 수 있도록 최선을 다해 달라”며, “의원들의 주문사항과 지적사항에 대해 면밀히 검토하고 지역구 의원 및 시민들과 적극 소통해 현장감 있는 행정을 펼쳐달라”고 당부했다.
