【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교는 LINC 3.0사업단이 필리핀 딸락주립대 연계 글로벌 Contact 프로그램을 실시했다고 10일 밝혔다.

아동복지상담전공 8명의 학생이 참여한 이번 프로그램은 학생들의 해외 유아교육 현장 이해를 높이고 글로벌 역량을 강화하기 위해 진행됐다.

학생들은 필리핀 딸락시에 위치한 웨스트 초등학교 부속유치원, 크레스톤 사립학교 유치원, 아카데미아 데 산티아고 특수학교 유치원에서 수업을 참관하고 보조교사로 활동에 참여했다. 

또한 딸락 주립대 부속어린이집를 찾아 유아교육 교구를 기증하고, 교사, 학부모, 유아들과 기증한 놀이교구로 놀이 활동을 진행했다. 

딸락 주립대 유아교육학과 학생들과 한국, 필리핀의 전통 놀이를 함께 하며 문화교류의 시간도 가졌다. 

안채언 학생은 “필리핀과 한국 유아교육의 차이점을 이해할 수 있었다”며 “우리가 제작한 놀이교구를 활용해 유아들이 즐겁게 놀이하는 모습을 보며 전공에 대한 자신감과 보람을 느꼈다”고 말했다.

윤갑정 교수는 “학생들이 글로벌 서비스러닝을 실천하고, 국제적인 아동복지 실무 역량을 키울 수 있도록 다양한 해외 연수 프로그램을 지속적으로 추진할 계획”이라고 말했다.

Daegu University of Oriental Medicine announced on the 10th that the LINC 3.0 Project Group conducted a global contact program in conjunction with Tarlac State University in the Philippines.

This program, in which eight students majoring in child welfare counseling participated, was conducted to increase students’ understanding of overseas early childhood education sites and strengthen their global capabilities.

The students observed classes at West Elementary School Kindergarten, Creston Private School Kindergarten, and Academia de Santiago Special School Kindergarten located in Tarlac City, Philippines, and participated as assistant teachers.

They also visited Tarlac State University Kindergarten to donate early childhood education materials and conducted play activities with teachers, parents, and children using the donated play materials.

They also had a time of cultural exchange by playing traditional Korean and Philippine games with Tarlac State University Early Childhood Education students.

Student Ahn Chae-eon said, “I was able to understand the differences between early childhood education in the Philippines and Korea,” and “I felt a sense of confidence and accomplishment in my major as I watched children happily playing using the play materials we made.”

Professor Yoon Gap-jeong said, “We plan to continuously promote various overseas training programs so that students can practice global service learning and develop international child welfare practice capabilities.”
