【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도 APEC 준비지원단은 2025년 APEC 정상회의 성공개최를 위해, 10일부터 23일까지 14일간 전국 대학생을 대상으로 APEC 2025 KOREA 대학생 앰버서더를 모집한다고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 앰버서더 프로그램은 2025년 APEC 정상회의 경북 경주 개최를 널리 알리고, 전 국민의 관심과 참여를 유도하기 위해 기획됐다. 특히, MZ세대의 창의적인 시각을 반영한 홍보 콘텐츠 제작과 확산을 핵심 목표로 한다.

전국의 대학생(재학생·휴학생) 및 국내 거주 해외 유학생 누구나 전공과 관계없이 지원할 수 있으며, 신청 방법은 경북문화재단 누리집에 지원신청서 및 증빙서류를 제출하면 된다.

개인 SNS 운영, 콘텐츠 제작 능력, 관련 활동 경력, 앰버서더 활동 의지 등 총 4가지 항목을 종합적으로 평가하고 외국인 유학생이나 외국어 가능자에게는 가점을 부여한다.

선발된 앰버서더는 2025년 3월부터 12월까지 10개월간 SNS 콘텐츠 제작 및 확산, 온오프라인 홍보 활동, APEC 관련 행사 참여 등을 통해 적극적인 홍보 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

앰버서더로 선정된 대학생에게는 매월 소정의 활동 지원금이 지급되며, 앰버서더 활동이 종료되면 수료자 전원에게 수료증을 전달하고 우수 활동팀을 선정해 표창할 예정이다.

최종 선발 결과는 3월 초에 발표되며 경상북도·경북문화재단 누리집, 2025년 APEC 정상회의 ‘경북경주’SNS 채널(인스타그램/apec2025korea_gyeongju)을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

Gyeongbuk Province Recruits APEC 2025 KOREA University Student Ambassadors

A total of four items, including personal SNS operation, content creation ability, related activity experience, and willingness to act as an ambassador, will be comprehensively evaluated, and extra points will be given to international students or those who can speak a foreign language.

The selected ambassadors will actively engage in promotional activities through SNS content creation and distribution, online and offline promotional activities, and participation in APEC-related events for 10 months from March to December 2025.

A certain amount of activity support money will be paid to university students selected as ambassadors every month, and upon completion of the ambassador activity, a certificate of completion will be given to all those who completed it, and excellent activity teams will be selected and commended.

The final selection results will be announced in early March and can be confirmed through the Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation homepages and the 2025 APEC Summit ‘Gyeongbuk Gyeongju’ SNS channel (Instagram/apec2025korea_gyeongju).

Kim Sang-cheol, head of the APEC Preparation Support Team, said, “In order to successfully host the 2025 APEC Summit, everyone’s interest and participation are more important than anything else,” adding, “We hope to increase public interest and spread the atmosphere of hosting the event nationwide through promotional activities that reflect the innovative perspectives of the MZ generation.”
