대가야의 우수성을 미디어아트와 풀어낸 ‘토제방울이야기’ 와 정월대보름을 맞이하여 사자놀음, 기놀음, 판굿 등 다양한 전통연희와 놀이를 현대적인 방식으로 재해석하여 선보인 이날 공연은 관객들에게 독특하고 소중한 경험을 선사했다.

2019년에 창단된 문화예술단체 '하랑'은 고령 출신의 젊은 국악 전공자들이모인 가야금 중심의 국악실내악 단체이며 지역의 문화 생태계를 활성화하고주민들의 문화적 삶의 질 향상과 지역 전통예술의 교육적, 경제적, 문화적발전을 이끌어가고 있다.

또한 이날 공연의 관람료는 전석 3,000원으로 고령사랑상품권으로 전액 환급하였으며, 군민들의 많은 관심으로 전석 매진을 기록하여 지역경제 활성화와 대가야 고령의 문화예술 발전을 한층 끌어올리는 의미 있는 공연이었다.

이후, 하랑은 2월 17일 성산면 소재 성요셉요양원의 찾아가는 공연을 끝으로 창작공연 2회와 읍면 찾아가는 공연 8회의 긴 여정을 마무리한다.
