【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시 수성구가 노인일자리 카페 ‘할로(HALLO) 마켓 in 수성’의 문을 열고 운영을 시작했다.

13일 수성구와 생명보험사회공헌재단의 협력으로 범어 3동 치안센터 유휴공간을 리모델링한 베이커리 카페 ‘할로 마켓’이 공식 개소했다.

손님을 맞이하는 인사말 ‘헬로우(hello)’와 할머니, 할아버지를 뜻하는 ‘할’을 결합한 이름으로 고립된 어르신층의 마음 건강을 지원하는 전국 최초 세대 통합형 노인 일자리 카페다.

어르신이 상품을 제작·판매하고 청년이 홍보·마케팅·디자인을 담당해 함께 수익을 창출하는 방식으로 운영되며 베이커리 카페 형식으로 운영된다.

60세 이상 어르신 30명이 직접 구운 빵과 음료, 직접 제작한 굿즈를 판매하고 대구 수성대학교 학생 12명이 소셜미디어를 활용해 상품 홍보를 지원할 예정이다.

구는 공간을 제공하고, 노인 일자리 모집 및 지역 청년과의 연계, 지역 특화 굿즈 판매점 조성 등을 추진하였으며 생명보험사회공헌재단은 프로젝트 전반을 기획 및 조율하고 공간 리모델링 등을 맡았다.

제빵사로 근무하게 된 이송희 씨는 “직접 빵을 굽고 키오스크 조작법도 배워보니 신입사원으로 돌아간 것 같아 아주 설렌다”며 “젊은 친구들과 소통하니 연결된 느낌이 들어 활력 넘치고 마음이 건강해지는 기분”이라고 소감을 전했다.

생명보험사회공헌재단 이장우 이사장은 “할로마켓이 세대 간 협력과 따뜻한 소통을 기반으로 하는 마음 힐링의 공간으로 거듭나기를 기대한다”며 “생명보험재단은 앞으로도 지속 가능한 세대 간 협업 모델을 개발해 어르신들의 마음 건강 지원에 앞장설 예정이다”고 전했다. 

김대권 수성구청장은 “지역 어르신들이 청년들과 소통하고 직접 참여하며 삶의 의미와 활력을 찾을 수 있는 ‘살아있는 복지’를 실현하는 공간”이라며 “지역경제 선순환구조 마련의 계기가 될 것이다”고 말했다.

Lee Jang-woo, the chairman of the Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation, said, “I hope that Hello Market will be reborn as a space for healing the mind based on cooperation and warm communication between generations,” and “The Life Insurance Foundation will continue to develop a sustainable intergenerational collaboration model and take the lead in supporting the mental health of the elderly.”

Kim Dae-kwon, the mayor of Suseong-gu, said, “It is a space that realizes ‘living welfare’ where local seniors can communicate with young people, participate directly, and find meaning and vitality in life,” and “It will be an opportunity to establish a virtuous cycle structure for the local economy.”
