지난 15일 경상남도 밀양시 밀양배드민턴경기장에서 열린 여자복식 경기에서 김민경-정민교(청송여고) 팀이 고가영-홍서현(제주여고) 팀을 2:0으로 이기고 우승을 차지했다.

이번 대회는 각 조별 리그전을 실시한 후, 조별 1위 팀끼리 토너먼트 방식으로 경기가 진행되었으며, 청송여고의 김민경-정민교 팀은 결승에서 강력한 상대를 물리치고 금메달을 손에 쥐었다.

또한 혼합복식 결승에 오른 곽민아(청송여고)-강승현(구미시체육회) 팀은 조동빈(제주사대부고)-홍서현(제주여고) 팀을 2:1로 승리하며 금메달을 획득했다.

이 외에도 개인 단식에 출전한 이채원 선수(청송여고 1학년)는 결승에서 아쉽게 1:2로 패하며 준우승을 차지했다. 복식경기에서도 곽민아-강유민(청송여고) 팀이 3위에 입상하는 성과를 올렸다.

청송여고 임태천 감독은 “동계 강화훈련을 통해 경기력이 향상되었고, 그 덕분에 여자복식 우승과 다른 좋은 결과들을 얻을 수 있었다”며, “앞으로도 남은 대회에서 좋은 성적을 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
