이번 사업은 지역아동센터와 학교가 협력하여 지역에 맞춘 맞춤형 돌봄 프로그램을 운영하는 것으로, 초등학생들에게 양질의 돌봄 서비스를 제공하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.

지난 2월 2주간, 경북도는 도내 지역아동센터를 대상으로 굿센스 사업 공모를 진행한 결과, 총 27개 팀을 선정했다. 선정된 팀들은 3월부터 11월까지 참여 아동을 대상으로 학교와 협력하여 각 지역 특성에 맞는 돌봄 프로그램을 운영할 예정이다. 

이를 위해 경북도와 교육청은 프로그램 운영비 예산을 지원하고, 지역아동센터경상북도지원단은 프로그램의 수준을 관리하기 위해 사전 워크숍과 모니터링, 컨설팅을 진행한다.

'굿센스' 사업은 지역사회를 기반으로 학교와 지역아동센터가 협력해 지역 자원을 활용한 맞춤형 프로그램을 개발하고 제공하는 마을 밀착형 돌봄 사업이다. 사업은 초등학교와 지역아동센터가 중심이 되어 마을 관계 기관과 협력하여 운영된다.

올해 선정된 팀은 총 27개 팀으로, 그 중 11개 팀은 지역사회 확산형, 16개 팀은 프로그램형으로 구분된다. 주요 프로그램으로는 경주 내남초등학교와 성동지역아동센터가 연계한 '꿈, 사랑, 인성교육이 꽃피는 성동, 내남 마을을 위한 굿센스' 프로그램이 있다. 

이 프로그램에서는 농촌 마을 어른들이 아이들에게 마을 이야기를 들려주고, 전통적인 예절 교육과 함께 도자기 및 한방 체험 등을 통해 아이들과 어른들이 함께 성장하는 기회를 제공한다.

또한, 포항의 동해초등학교와 한울지역아동센터, 동해지역아동센터는 '동해 어린이 연오·세오 예술단의 지역문화 활동 프로젝트'를 진행하며, 지역 예술가와 문화단체를 활용하여 아이들이 지역 문화와 예술을 체험하는 돌봄 프로그램을 운영한다. 

상주에서는 상영초등학교와 상주지역아동센터가 연계하여 '어르신들과 온정의 차 한잔, 국악 한소리'라는 전통문화 체험 프로그램을 통해 아이들이 지역 어르신들과 소통하고, 지역축제에 참여하는 기회를 제공한다.

엄태현 경상북도 저출생극복본부장은 "굿센스 사업을 통해 돌봄 공백을 해소하고, 지역사회와 아동들이 함께 성장할 수 있는 환경을 만들겠다"며, "앞으로도 저출생 극복을 위한 다양한 정책을 추진해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

The selected teams will operate care programs tailored to the characteristics of each region in cooperation with schools for participating children from March to November.

To this end, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and the Office of Education will support the program's operating expenses budget, and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Support Team for Local Children's Centers will conduct preliminary workshops, monitoring, and consulting to manage the level of the program.

The 'Good Sense' project is a village-based care project where schools and local children's centers collaborate to develop and provide customized programs utilizing local resources based on the local community. The project is operated in cooperation with village-related organizations, with elementary schools and local children's centers as the center.

A total of 27 teams were selected this year, of which 11 are community-based and 16 are program-based. The main program is the 'Good Sense for Seongdong and Naenam Villages Where Dreams, Love, and Character Education Blossom' program, which is a collaboration between Gyeongju Naenam Elementary School and Seongdong Local Children's Center.

In this program, rural village adults tell stories of their village to children, and provide opportunities for children and adults to grow together through traditional etiquette education, pottery, and oriental medicine experiences.

In addition, Pohang's Donghae Elementary School, Hanul Local Children's Center, and Donghae Local Children's Center are carrying out the 'Donghae Children's Yeonoh and Seo Art Troupe's Local Cultural Activity Project', and are operating a care program where children experience local culture and art by utilizing local artists and cultural organizations.

In Sangju, Sangyeong Elementary School and Sangju Community Children's Center collaborate to provide children with opportunities to communicate with local seniors and participate in local festivals through a traditional culture experience program called 'A Cup of Warm Tea with the Elderly, a Korean Traditional Musical Instrument.'

Um Tae-hyun, the head of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Low Birth Rate Overcoming Headquarters, said, "Through the Good Sense Project, we will eliminate the care gap and create an environment where the local community and children can grow together," and added, "We will continue to pursue various policies to overcome the low birth rate in the future."
