【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 지난  5일 중소벤처기업부의 ‘소공인 복합지원센터 구축 운영’ 공모사업에 선정되며 국비 25억 원을 확보했다고 6일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 총사업비 70억 원 규모로, 소공인들의 혁신적인 제조 창업을 위한 핵심 인프라 구축을 목표로 한다.

‘소공인 복합지원센터 구축 운영 사업’은 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 사업으로, 소공인들이 공동으로 장비를 사용하고 제품을 고도화하며, 개발과 판매까지 지원하는 혁신적 기반을 마련한다. 주요 사업 내용으로는 소공인 전용 복합지원센터 설치, 첨단 제조 장비 구축, 판로 개척을 위한 마케팅 강화, 제조 창업자 교육 등이 포함된다.

경상북도는 이 사업을 통해 소공인의 아이디어를 실제품으로 구현하고, 기술 지원을 통해 제품을 고도화해 매출 증대와 경쟁력 강화를 도울 예정이다. 복합지원센터는 경산시 진량읍 일반산업단지에 위치할 예정이며, 이 지역은 금속 가공제품과 기계 및 장비 제조업 210여 개사가 밀집해 있어, 산·학·연 협력 기반을 갖춘 최적의 소공인 제조 창업지로 평가된다. 이로 인해 지역경제 활성화와 신규 고용 창출도 기대된다.

경상북도는 이번 공모사업 선정을 계기로 소공인 통합지원체계를 구축하고, 전담 관리기관을 지정해 실질적인 육성 지원에 나설 계획이다. 또한, 올해를 ‘기업가형 소상공인 육성 및 지원의 원년’으로 삼고, 다양한 지원 사업을 추진할 예정이다.

최영숙 경북도 경제통상국장은 "이번 공모사업을 통해 경북 도내 금속·기계 제조업 소공인들이 경쟁력을 강화할 수 있는 기반을 마련했다"며, "소공인 복합지원센터가 지역 제조업 생태계의 거점으로 자리 잡아 자생력을 갖춘 산업 환경을 조성하도록 노력하겠다"고 강조했다.

This is expected to revitalize the local economy and create new jobs.

Gyeongsangbuk-do plans to establish an integrated support system for small businesses and designate a dedicated management agency to provide practical support for fostering them based on this public offering.
