이번 본회의에서는 함정호 의원이 5분 자유발언을 통해 네이처이엔티 부지 조성 사업에서 발생한 악취 문제에 대한 포항시의 행정조치 촉구와 환경문제 해결을 위한 신속한 대응을 요구했다. 그는 또한, 2009년 폐지된 대구지방환경청 포항출장소 재설치를 주장했다. 전주형 의원은 일제 식민 장례문화의 청산과 전통 장례문화 보존을 위해 추모공원 내 전통 상·장례 전시장 조성을 제안하며, 우리의 장례문화가 왜곡된 일제 식민 문화에서 유래했음을 지적했다.

포항시의회의 다음 제323회 임시회는 오는 4월 1일부터 4월 15일까지 15일간 진행될 예정이다.
