【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 3월 12일 육군 제50보병사단과 한울본부 일대에서 민·관·군·경·소방의 통합 대테러 대비 테세를 완비하고 현장 대응 위주의 작전종결 능력을 구비하기 위해 대테러 통합방호훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
훈련은 △한울본부 정문에 차량을 이용한 고속침투 △드론을 활용 본부내 건물에 충돌하여 폭발 및 화재 발생 △해상에서 배수구 일대로 침투 및 폭발물 설치 등 복합적인 상황을 가정하여 진행했다.
15해안감시기동대대장 박종도 중령은“협력체계 검증을 위한 훈련을 통해 통합 방위 작전을 하나로 결집해 전투력을 격상시키는 계기가 되었다”라고 훈련 소감을 밝혔다.
이세용 본부장은 “원자력 발전소에 발생 가능한 여러 테러 상황에 대비한 실전 훈련으로 방호역량을 더욱 강화할 수 있었고, 앞으로도 유관기관과 유기적인 협조를 기반으로 체계적인 훈련에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Headquarters (Chief Lee Se-yong, hereinafter referred to as Hanul Headquarters) announced on March 12 that it conducted an integrated counter-terrorism defense training in order to complete the integrated counter-terrorism response system of the civil-public-military-police-fire department and acquire the capability to conclude operations centered on on-site response at the 50th Infantry Division of the Army and the Hanul Headquarters area.
As part of the 25-year Freedom Shield (F/S TIGER: Freedom Shield TIGER), a total of 225 people participated, including Hanul Headquarters’ petition police, special guards, and its own fire department, as well as units under the 50th Division, East Sea Regional Coast Guard Special Forces, Uljin County Police, Coast Guard, Fire Department, and Uljin County Office Radiation Measurement Team.
The training was conducted by assuming complex situations such as △high-speed infiltration using a vehicle at the main gate of Hanul Headquarters, △crashing a building within the headquarters using a drone to cause an explosion and fire, △infiltration and installation of explosives in the drain area from the sea.
Lieutenant Colonel Park Jong-do, commander of the 15th Coastal Surveillance Mobile Battalion, said, “Through training to verify the cooperation system, we were able to consolidate integrated defense operations into one and enhance our combat capabilities.”
