【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=iM뱅크(아이엠뱅크, 은행장 황병우)는 대구광역시와 대구창조경제혁신센터가 추진하는 ‘대구 스타트업 오픈 이노베이션 지원사업’에 참여한다고 12일 밝혔다.

본 사업은 동반성장과 개방형 혁신 생태계를 구축하고 우수 스타트업 기업을 발굴하기 위한 것으로, iM뱅크를 포함한 대구 선도기업 5개사가 참여한다.

이번 사업에는 삼익THK㈜, 삼보모터스㈜, 에스엘㈜, 한국가스공사 등과 함께 iM뱅크가 참여하며, 대구 창업 생태계의 활성화와 미래 신산업 분야 협업 성과 창출을 목표로 하고 있다. 2023년에 시작된 이 사업은 2년간 6개 선도기업과 18개 창업기업 간의 협업 실증을 지원해왔으며, 올해는 참여 기업과 지원 과제 수, 지원금액 등을 확대하여 사업규모를 더욱 넓혔다.

iM뱅크는 올해 대구시와 함께 총 8천만 원을 지원하여, AI기술을 활용한 기업뱅킹 앱 기술 개발과 기업 ESG 솔루션 개발을 추진할 계획이다. 이를 통해 금융서비스를 필요로 하는 고객에게 빠른 접근과 상품 안내를 제공하고, 수출기업과 중소기업들의 ESG 자가진단과 솔루션을 지원할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

황병우 iM뱅크 은행장은 “지역에 본점을 둔 시중은행으로서 지역 우수 민관 협력 사례를 지속적으로 개발하고 지원하며, 고객에게 필요한 디지털 서비스를 제공하기 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

iM Bank participates in Daegu Startup Open Innovation Support Project

This project, which started in 2023, has supported collaboration demonstrations between six leading companies and 18 startup companies for two years, and this year, the scale of the project has been further expanded by expanding the number of participating companies, support projects, and support amounts.

iM Bank plans to support a total of 80 million won with Daegu City this year to develop corporate banking app technology utilizing AI technology and corporate ESG solutions. Through this, it is expected to provide quick access and product information to customers in need of financial services, and support ESG self-diagnosis and solutions for export companies and small and medium-sized enterprises.
