【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시체육회(회장 이재한)는 3월 13일 제2차 이사회를 통해 공석이었던 상임부회장 에 황병기 전 포항시 도시해양국장을 신임 상임부회장으로 임명했다고 밝혔다.

신임 황 상임부회장은 지난 82년 포항시에서 공직자로 첫발을 내딛었다. 이후 체육지원과장, 건설과장, 홍보담당관 등의 요직을 두로 거치며 도시해양국장을 끝으로 40여년의 공직생활을마감했다.

이후에도 오랜기간 자리했던 포항시축구협회 수석부회장, 경북축구협회 이사직을 유지하며 지역체육과의 인연의 끈을 놓지 않으며 포항체육 발전을 위한 노력을 해 왔다.

포항시체육회 이재한 회장은 “공직자로 다양한 요직에 자리하며 정책 기획 및 조직 운영에서 탁월한 리더십을 발휘했으며, 특히 체육지원과장 재직시 체육행정과 현장 실무를 두루 경험한 풍부한 역량을 바탕으로 포항시체육회의 발전과 주요 역점 사업 추진에 큰 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다.”고 말했다.

황병기 신임 상임부회장은 “포항체육인의 한 구성원으로 포항체육 발전을 위해 헌신할기회를 갖게 돼 영광”이라며, “체육인 가족 모두가 신뢰하고 의지하며 서로 소통하는 창구 역할을 기반으로 체육회는 물론 회원단체와 관계기관의 상생발전을 이끌며 포항체육이 관계하는 다양한 분야에서 주도적인 역할을 할 수 있도록 포항체육인과 함께, 같이 노력해 나가겠다.”고 각오를 밝혔다.

[Break News Pohang] Reporter Park Young-jae = Pohang City Sports Association (Chairman Lee Jae-han) announced on March 13 that it had appointed former Pohang City Urban and Marine Bureau Director Hwang Byeong-gi as the new standing vice-chairman through the 2nd board meeting.

Newly appointed Vice-Chairman Hwang first stepped into public service in Pohang City in 1982. Since then, he has held important positions such as Sports Support Division Director, Construction Division Director, and Public Relations Officer, and ended his 40-year career in public service as the Urban and Marine Bureau Director.

Since then, he has maintained his ties with local sports as the senior vice president of the Pohang City Football Association and director of the Gyeongbuk Football Association, and has made efforts to develop Pohang sports.
