대구대 사범대학은 이번 임용시험에서 국·공립 중등교사로 223명, 사립학교 교원으로는 38명이 합격하는 성과를 거두었다. 특히, 특수교육 관련 학과인 특수교육과, 초등특수교육과, 유아특수교육과는 전국에서 수석 및 차석 합격자를 배출하며 국내 최고의 특수교육 학과임을 입증했다.

특히, 대구대 유아특수교육과는 서울, 경기, 인천, 강원, 대구, 경북 지역에서 수석 합격자를 배출했고, 대구, 경북, 경남, 울산에서 차석 합격자를 기록하며 우수한 성과를 거뒀다. 초등특수교육과는 대구, 울산, 제주에서 수석 합격자를 배출했고, 대구와 경북에서는 차석 합격자를 배출했다. 또한, 특수교육과(중등)는 대구와 울산에서 수석 합격자를, 대구에서 차석 합격자를 배출하는 성과를 얻었다.
