【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구·경북지방중소벤처기업청(청장 정기환, 이하 대경중기청)은 18일, 지역 주력 산업 분야에서 산업 생태계를 이끌어갈 '초광역권 선도기업'에 선정된 ㈜엔유씨전자와 ㈜엠에이텍에 대해 선정서 및 선정패를 수여했다고 18일 밝혔다.

'초광역권 선도기업'은 지역주력산업 분야에서 혁신성, 성장성, 지역경제 기여도가 뛰어난 중소기업으로, 시·도 간 경계를 넘어 공급망을 형성하고 그 안에서 핵심 역할을 수행하는 기업을 의미한다.

대경중기청에 따르면, 전국 12개사로 선정된 초광역권 선도기업 중 대구·경북지역에서는 ㈜엔유씨전자와 ㈜엠에이텍이 각각 2차 선정 기업으로 이름을 올렸다.

㈜엔유씨전자는 주방가전 제조 전문기업으로 1997년에 설립되어, 원액기와 블렌더를 주로 생산하며 65건의 특허를 보유하고 있다. 또한, 4개의 해외 지사와 90개국에 수출을 진행하는 글로벌 기업으로 성장했다.

㈜엠에이텍은 자동차 부품 제조 전문 기업으로, 1984년에 설립되어 차체 바디를 포함한 다양한 자동차 부품을 생산하고 있다. 품질 보증 체제를 엄격히 관리하며, ISO 14001과 ISO 9001 등 품질 인증을 보유하고 있다.

중소벤처기업부는 이번에 선정된 초광역권 선도기업에게 2년간 최대 2억 원의 제품 개선, 판로 확보, 컨설팅 등 사업화 지원을 제공할 예정이다. 또한, 50억 원 한도의 기술보증 프로그램도 운영된다.

추가적으로, 금융위원회와 협력하여 '지역혁신 선도기업'과 '초광역권 선도기업'을 대상으로 신용보증 3천억 원, 융자 6,800억 원 규모의 정책금융 프로그램도 지원할 계획이다.

정기환 대경중기청장은 “2023년 개편된 지역 주력 산업 정책에 따라 대구시와 경북도와 협력하여 지역 중소기업을 적극 지원하겠다”며, “초광역권 단위에서 지역 주력 산업의 성장을 견인할 초광역권 선도기업을 집중 지원하고, 이를 통해 지역 대표 기업 성장 모델을 구축해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
