【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=경상북도안동의료원(원장 이국현)은 지난 3월 19일 예천군 개포면 행정열린센터에서 약 330명의 지역 주민을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 행복병원’ 제1차 합동순회 진료를 진행했다.

21일 안동의료원에 따르면 이번 진료에는 안동의료원, 포항의료원, 김천의료원, 공군 제16전투비행단 항공의무대대가 함께 참여했다. 

총 6개 진료과의 전문의와 의료진 60여 명이 혈압·혈당 측정, 초음파·X선 촬영, 골밀도 검사, 심전도 검사, 혈액 및 소변 검사 등 기초검사를 실시하고, 진료 상담 및 투약, 물리치료, 보건 교육까지 원스톱 의료 서비스를 제공했다.

또한, 예천군 치매안심센터, 한국교통안전공단, 경상북도장애인복지관, 경북금연지원센터 등 유관기관도 참여해  △치매 선별검사 △교통안전 교육 및 안전 물품 제공 △공예 체험 △금연 교육 및 캠페인 △해피포토 사진 촬영 등 다양한 생활복지 프로그램을 운영하며 큰 호응을 얻었다.

이국현 안동의료원장은 “이번 합동 순회 진료를 통해 ‘찾아가는 행복병원’이 경북 지역의 필수 의료서비스 강화와 공공의료 역할 확대에 기여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”며, “앞으로도 지역 주민들의 건강 증진과 복지 향상을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, ‘찾아가는 행복병원’은 2012년부터 경상북도가 추진하는 공공의료 사업으로, 안동·포항·김천의료원이 북부·동부·서부권을 담당하며 운영되고 있다. 이 사업은 의료 접근이 어려운 지역 주민들에게 특수 제작된 진료버스를 통해 매주 2회 순회 진료를 시행하며, 지역 주민들의 건강 안전망을 구축하는 데 기여하고 있다.

Gyeongbuk Andong Medical Center (Director Lee Gook-hyun) conducted the 1st Joint Mobile Clinic for ‘Visiting Happiness Hospital’ targeting approximately 330 local residents at the Administrative Open Center in Gaepo-myeon, Yecheon-gun on March 19.

Andong Medical Center, Pohang Medical Center, Gimcheon Medical Center, and the Air Force 16th Fighter Squadron Aviation Medical Squadron participated in this clinic.

A total of 60 specialists and medical staff from 6 departments conducted basic tests such as blood pressure and blood sugar measurements, ultrasound and X-ray imaging, bone density tests, electrocardiograms, blood and urine tests, and provided one-stop medical services including consultations and medications, physical therapy, and health education.

In addition, related organizations such as Yecheon-gun Dementia Safety Center, Korea Transportation Safety Authority, Gyeongsangbuk-do Welfare Center for the Disabled, and Gyeongsangbuk-do Smoking Cessation Support Center also participated and operated various welfare programs such as dementia screening, traffic safety education and safety supplies, craft experience, smoking cessation education and campaign, and happy photo photography, which received a great response.

Lee Gook-hyun, the director of Andong Medical Center, said, “Through this joint mobile treatment, we will do our best so that the ‘Visiting Happy Hospital’ can contribute to strengthening essential medical services and expanding the role of public medical care in the Gyeongsangbuk-do region,” and “We will continue to work to promote the health and welfare of local residents in the future.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Visiting Happy Hospital’ is a public medical project promoted by Gyeongsangbuk-do since 2012, and Andong, Pohang, and Gimcheon Medical Centers are in charge of the northern, eastern, and western regions. This project provides mobile medical care twice a week via a specially designed medical bus to residents in areas with difficult access to medical care, contributing to building a health safety net for local residents.
