【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 한국표준협회와 공동으로 주관하는 ‘2025 경북 숙련기술인 후계자 양성 지원사업’의 신청·접수를 오는 4월 30일까지 받는다.

이번 사업은 도내에서 활동 중인 우수 숙련기술인들을 활용해 중소기업 재직 중인 기술인과 중·고등학생을 대상으로 진행된다. 

이 사업은 참여를 원하는 기업과 학교를 대상으로, 지역의 명장들이 현장을 직접 방문하여 후계자 양성을 위한 맞춤형 교육을 제공하는 방식으로 진행된다. 교육은 예비 기술인들이 우수 후계자로 성장할 수 있도록 핵심 기술과 현장 노하우를 전수하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.

지난 1~2회차 사업은 중소기업 및 중·고교 학생들로부터 큰 호응을 얻어 조기에 마감된 바 있다. 교육은 화훼, 미용, 기계, 전기, 공예 분야 등에서 113회의 후계자 양성 교육을 실시하여 예비 기술인들이 숙련기술인으로 성장할 수 있는 기회를 제공했다.

올해 경북도는 80회의 후계자 양성 교육을 목표로 사업을 추진하며, 전자, 공예, 화훼 등 다양한 분야에서 우수 기술을 보유한 대한민국명장, 경상북도명장, 국가품질명장 등 89명의 기술지원단을 구성하여 교육을 진행할 예정이다.

지난해 사업에 참여한 직업고등학교 관계자는 “학생들이 직업 가치관을 형성하고, 직종에 대한 자부심을 키우는 중요한 계기가 되었다”며, “진로 탐색에도 큰 도움이 되었다”고 만족감을 전했다.

최영숙 경북도 경제통상국장은 “이번 사업은 기술인으로서 사회에 기여할 기회를 제공하고, 미래 산업을 이끌어갈 인재를 양성하는 중요한 의미가 있다”며, “경북도는 지역 산업경쟁력을 높이기 위해 기술인재 양성 및 제도적 지원을 계속해서 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

사업에 참여를 희망하는 기업이나 학교는 후계자 대상 직종과 일시, 내용을 작성하여 4월 30일까지 한국표준협회 대구경북지역본부로 신청하면 된다. 신청 후에는 수요와 일정을 조정하여 11월 말까지 후계자 양성 교육을 진행할 예정이다.

This year, Gyeongbuk Province is promoting the project with the goal of 80 successor training sessions, and plans to form a technical support group of 89 people including Korean masters, Gyeongsangbuk-do masters, and national quality masters with excellent skills in various fields such as electronics, crafts, and floriculture to conduct the training.
