【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군(군수 손병복)은 3월 25일 경북 의성군에서 발생한 산불이 인근 지역으로 확산되자, 긴급상황판단 회의를 소집하고 비상대응에 나섰다.

이날 저녁 7시 40분에 열린 긴급회의에서 군은 산불 피해를 최소화하기 위해 즉각적으로 재난안전대책본부를 가동하고, 지역 주민들의 안전을 확보하기 위한 대책을 마련했다.

울진군은 우선 산불의 확산 우려가 큰 인근 경계 지역인 온정면 조금1, 2리와 덕인2, 3리, 덕산3리 주민들과 후포면 인덕사랑마을의 입소자 및 직원들을 긴급 대피시켰다.

 대피한 주민들은 농협은행 백암수련원, 온정중학교 체육관, 후포면복지센터 등으로 이동했으며, 군은 이들 대피소에 일시구호세트, 도시락, 빵과 음료 등 식료품을 제공하고 셀터를 마련해 대피자들이 불편하지 않도록 지원했다.

26일 오전 9시 기준으로 대부분의 대피 주민들은 귀가했지만, 산불 위기 경보는 여전히 ‘심각’ 단계로 유지되고 있으며, 밤사이 강풍주의보 발효 상황을 고려해 비상체계가 계속해서 가동되고 있다. 

군은 산불 확산 상황을 점검하기 위해 영덕군과 영양군에 산림과 팀장 2명과 진화대를 출동시켜 진행 상황을 파악하고, 만일의 사태에 대비해 산불진화대원들의 비상 대기 상태를 유지하고 있다.

또한 울진군은 각 읍면장 책임하에 공무원과 산불감시원들을 중심으로 산불감시 체계를 강화하고 있으며, 비상 상황 발생 시 재난 대응 체계를 철저히 관리할 계획이다.

손병복 울진군수는 "산불이 엄중한 상황인 만큼 현장 순찰을 강화하고, 마을 방송 등을 통해 산불 취약 시간대에 집중 단속과 산불 예방 활동을 철저히 진행할 것이다"고 말했다. 이어 "이번 산불로 안타깝게 목숨을 잃은 분들의 비보에 깊은 슬픔을 겪고 있는 유가족들에게 진심으로 위로의 말을 전한다"고 밝혔다.

The evacuated residents moved to Nonghyup Bank Baekam Training Center, Onjeong Middle School Gymnasium, Hupo-myeon Welfare Center, etc., and the county provided temporary relief kits, lunch boxes, bread, drinks, and other groceries to these shelters and set up shelters to support the evacuees so that they would not be inconvenienced.
