【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=국립농산물품질관리원 경북지원(지원장 서준한, 이하 경북농관원)은 4월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 대구·경북지역의 농약 판매업 등록업체 976개소를 대상으로 ‘농약 품질검사 및 유통점검’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 지방자치단체와 협력하여, 부정·불량 농약 유통을 사전에 방지하고 안전한 농산물 생산 기반을 조성하기 위해 상반기와 하반기로 나누어 진행된다.

농약 품질검사 및 유통점검 일정은 상반기는 4월~5월, 하반기는 8월~9월에 걸쳐 진행될 예정이다.

경북농관원은 매년 농약의 밀수 판매 금지, 취급제한기준 준수 등 농약 판매 시 주의사항을 온·오프라인을 통해 홍보하고 있다. 홍보는 전단지, 동영상 등을 활용하여 농약 판매업체와 소비자에게 적극적인 안내가 이루어진다.

이번 농약 품질검사에서는 판매 중인 농약을 대상으로 시료를 수거하여 성분(주성분, 물리성) 분석을 진행하며, 유통점검은 불법 농약 판매와 온라인 판매 모니터링을 동시에 진행할 예정이다. 

특히, 점검 항목은 △부정·불량 농약의 보관, 진열, 판매 행위 △농약 취급제한기준 △판매 기록 및 가격표시제 준수 여부 등이다. 위반 업체에 대해서는 행정처분 등의 조치가 내려질 예정이다.

서준한 경북농관원 지원장은 “불법 농약 유통을 철저히 차단하여 농업인과 소비자의 피해를 예방하고, 올바른 상거래 질서를 확립하는 것이 중요하다”며, “농약 유통판매업체들의 적극적인 관심과 협조”를 당부했다.

The Gyeongbuk Branch of the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service (Director Seo Jun-han, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeongbuk Agricultural Products Quality Management Service) announced that it will conduct ‘pesticide quality inspection and distribution inspection’ targeting 976 registered pesticide sales companies in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions from April 1 to September 30.

This inspection will be conducted in the first and second half of the year in cooperation with local governments to prevent the distribution of illegal and defective pesticides in advance and to establish a foundation for the production of safe agricultural products.

The pesticide quality inspection and distribution inspection schedule will be conducted from April to May in the first half of the year and from August to September in the second half of the year.

The Gyeongbuk Agricultural Products Quality Management Service promotes precautions for pesticide sales, such as prohibition of smuggling and sales of pesticides and compliance with handling restrictions, through online and offline channels every year. The promotion actively provides guidance to pesticide sales companies and consumers using flyers, videos, etc.

This pesticide quality inspection will collect samples of pesticides on sale and analyze their ingredients (main ingredients, physical properties), and the distribution inspection will simultaneously monitor illegal pesticide sales and online sales.

In particular, the inspection items are: △Storage, display, and sales of illegal and defective pesticides; △Pesticide handling restriction standards; △Compliance with sales records and price labeling systems, etc. Administrative measures will be taken against companies that violate the regulations.

Seo Jun-han, the director of the Gyeongbuk Agricultural Research and Extension Services, said, “It is important to thoroughly block illegal pesticide distribution to prevent damage to farmers and consumers and establish proper trade order,” and requested “active interest and cooperation from pesticide distribution and sales companies.”
