【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성문화재단이 글로벌 어드벤처 리얼리티 프로그램 ‘아시아익스프레스’의 대구 촬영을 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

‘아시아익스프레스’는 벨기에의 방송제작사 에코라인의 대표작으로 2004년부터 20년 동안 세계 55개국을 배경으로 촬영된 인기 프로그램이다.

이번에 촬영된 ‘아시아익스프레스 루마니아 시즌8’의 에피소드 ‘코리아 게임즈’ 편은 서울, 대구, 부산 등 한국 주요 도시의 모습이 담겼다.

수성문화재단에서는 4박 5일간의 대구·경북권 촬영을 위해 호텔 및 촬영 장소 섭외를 지원하고 캐릭터 뚜비가 미션 대상으로 출연하는 등 유럽 관광객 대상 미디어 홍보와 관광 유치에 시동을 걸었다. 

대구·경북권에서의 출연자 미션은 K-POP과 K-뷰티 체험으로, 수성구 캐릭터 뚜비는 K-POP 미션에서, 경희효성한의원, 뷰라운지 등 수성구 뷰티 관광지는 프로그램 중간 미니 다큐멘터리 ‘디스커버리맨’에 소개된다. 

프로그램 방영 후 유럽 관광객을 대상으로 판매될 ‘아시아익스프레스 패키지투어’에 이번 촬영에서 소개된 경희효성한의원의 한방미용침 등 수성구 뷰티의료관광지가 관광 코스로 포함될 예정이다. 

김대권 수성문화재단 이사장은 “지금까지는 직항이 있는 인근 국가를 중심으로 해외 관광객을 유치해 왔지만, 올해부터는 구미주, 태국, 유럽 등 다양한 국가를 대상으로 홍보·마케팅을 강화할 계획”이라며 “수성구를 글로벌 웰니스 관광 도시로 성장시킬 수 있도록 적극적인 노력을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Suseong Cultural Foundation announced that it has successfully completed filming of the global adventure reality program 'Asia Express' in Daegu.

'Asia Express' is a representative work of Belgian broadcasting production company Echoline, and is a popular program that has been filmed in 55 countries around the world for 20 years since 2004.

The episode 'Korea Games' of 'Asia Express Romania Season 8' that was filmed this time contains scenes of major Korean cities such as Seoul, Daegu, and Busan.

The Suseong Cultural Foundation supported the hotel and filming location search for the 4-night, 5-day Daegu/Gyeongbuk area filming, and started media promotion and tourism attraction targeting European tourists by having the character Doobi appear as a mission target.

The missions of the performers in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk area are K-POP and K-beauty experiences, and Susung-gu character Doobi is introduced in the K-POP mission, while Susung-gu beauty tourist destinations such as Kyunghee Hyosung Oriental Medicine Clinic and View Lounge are introduced in the mini documentary 'Discovery Man' in the middle of the program.

After the program airs, the 'Asia Express Package Tour' that will be sold to European tourists will include the beauty medical tourism destinations of Susung-gu, such as Kyunghee Hyosung Oriental Medicine Clinic's oriental medicine acupuncture introduced in this filming, as a tourist course.

Kim Dae-kwon, chairman of the Susung Cultural Foundation, said, "Up until now, we have been attracting overseas tourists mainly from nearby countries with direct flights, but starting this year, we plan to strengthen our promotion and marketing targeting various countries such as the Americas, Thailand, and Europe," and "We will continue to make active efforts to grow Susung-gu into a global wellness tourism city."
