【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 최근 초대형 산불로 특별재난지역으로 지정된 의성, 안동, 영양, 청송, 영덕 등 5개 시군을 대상으로 4월 15일부터 ‘한시적 긴급돌봄서비스’를 제공한다고 밝혔다.

이번 긴급돌봄서비스는 산불 피해 또는 돌봄 공백이 발생한 가정을 위해 단기 집중 지원을 목표로 운영된다. 주요 지원 대상은 피해를 입었거나 주 돌봄자의 부재로 돌봄이 절실히 필요한 주민으로, 최대 2~3개월 간 한시적으로 지원받을 수 있다. 특별재난지역 외 지역 주민도 필요성이 인정되면 별도 심사를 통해 예외 지원이 가능하다.

서비스는 요양보호사 등 전문 인력을 통해 재가 돌봄을 기본으로 최대 30일, 하루 8시간 이내 총 72시간까지 제공된다. 재가 돌봄이 어려운 경우에는 임시 거주시설에서도 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 유연하게 운영된다.

이번 사업은 경북도가 (재)경북행복재단을 주관기관으로 지정하고, 사회복지공동모금회의 특별 모금 성금 2억 원을 활용해 전액 무료로 지원된다. 이를 위해 시군 및 읍면동 행정복지센터, 돌봄 제공기관과 협력체계를 구축해 신속한 현장 대응과 민관 협업을 추진할 방침이다.

서비스 신청은 15일부터 경북행복재단, 각 시군 및 읍면동을 통해 전화 또는 방문 신청이 가능하며, 대피시설 내에도 접수처를 설치해 주민 접근성과 편의를 높인다.

유정근 경북도 보건복지국장은 “이번 산불로 삶의 터전을 잃은 주민들이 하루빨리 일상으로 복귀할 수 있도록, 현장의 수요를 반영한 실질적이고 탄력적인 돌봄서비스를 제공하겠다”고 밝혔다.
