【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구장애인종합복지관이 ‘제22회 대구장애청소년 사생대회’를 성료했다고 21일 밝혔다.

지난 16일, 대구 수성구 상화동산에서는 제45회 장애인의 날 기념 ‘제22회 대구장애청소년 사생대회’가 열렸다.

장애청소년들이 자신의 예술적 재능을 마음껏 발휘하고 문화예술적 감성을 키울 수 있도록 마련된 행사에는 대구지역 중·고등부 장애청소년 약 250명이 참여했다.

이들은 상화동산 곳곳에서 사생 활동을 펼쳤다. 심사를 거쳐 오는 5월 2일 수상작을 발표한다. 

정은경 대구장애인종합복지관장은 “장애인의 날을 맞아 청소년들이 마음껏 그림 실력을 뽐내고 문화 활동을 통해 자존감과 성취감을 키울 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다”며 “매년 대회를 주최해주신 국제라이온스협회와 장소를 제공해주신 수성구청에 깊이 감사드린다”고 전했다.

The Daegu Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled announced on the 21st that it had successfully held the ‘22nd Daegu Disabled Youth Sketching Contest’.

On the 16th, the ‘22nd Daegu Disabled Youth Sketching Contest’ was held in Sanghwa-dongsan, Suseong-gu, Daegu to commemorate the 45th Disabled Persons’ Day.

Approximately 250 disabled youth from middle and high schools in the Daegu area participated in the event, which was designed to allow disabled youth to fully display their artistic talents and develop their cultural and artistic sensibilities.

They engaged in sketching activities in various places in Sanghwa-dongsan. The winners will be announced on May 2nd after the judging process.

Jeong Eun-gyeong, the director of the Daegu Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, said, “On the occasion of the Disabled Persons’ Day, we had a meaningful time where youths could fully show off their drawing skills and develop self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment through cultural activities,” adding, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the International Lions Clubs Association, which hosts the contest every year, and to the Suseong-gu Office, which provided the venue.”
