이번 조사는 「지역보건법」 제4조에 근거한 국가승인통계조사로, 울릉군에서는 표본으로 선정된 약 800~900명의 만 19세 이상 성인을 대상으로 진행된다. 전문 조사원은 태블릿 PC를 이용하여 대상 가구를 직접 방문, 1:1 면접 방식으로 건강 관련 정보를 수집할 예정이다.
주요 조사 내용은 흡연, 음주, 식생활, 신체활동 등 건강 행태를 비롯하여 고혈압, 당뇨병 등 주요 만성질환의 유병 여부, 정신 건강 상태, 가구 특성 등 총 19개 영역에 걸쳐 169개 문항, 135개 산출 지표로 구성되어 있다.
이번 조사 결과는 울릉군민의 전반적인 건강 수준을 체계적으로 파악하고, 지역 사회의 특성에 맞는 효과적인 건강증진 정책 수립 및 보건 사업 추진을 위한 중요한 기초 자료로 활용될 예정이다.
김영헌 울릉군보건의료원장은 “정확하고 신뢰도 높은 통계 결과를 얻기 위해 조사 대상 가구의 적극적인 참여와 솔직한 응답을 부탁드린다”며, “여러분의 소중한 응답 하나하나가 울릉군민의 더욱 건강한 미래를 만들어나가는 데 중요한 밑거름이 될 것”이라고 강조했다.

Ulleung-gun Health and Medical Center (Director Kim Young-heon) announced that it will conduct the 2025 Community Health Survey, hosted by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and participated by 258 public health centers nationwide, from May 16 to July 31.
This survey is a nationally approved statistical survey based on Article 4 of the 「Local Health Act」, and will be conducted in Ulleung-gun with approximately 800 to 900 adults aged 19 or older selected as a sample. Professional investigators will use tablet PCs to visit target households in person and collect health-related information through 1:1 interviews.
The main survey contents consist of 169 questions and 135 calculated indicators in 19 areas, including health behaviors such as smoking, drinking, eating habits, and physical activity, as well as the prevalence of major chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, mental health status, and household characteristics.
