이번 교육은 중대재해처벌법 시행 3년을 맞아 법 적용에 어려움을 겪고 있는 중소기업들을 지원하기 위해 고용노동부, 한국산업안전보건공단, 대한상공회의소, 전국상공회의소가 공동으로 마련한 전국 순회교육의 일환으로 열렸다.

최근 중대재해 발생 사업장에 대한 처벌 사례가 늘어나면서, 전 사업장에 의무화된 ‘위험성 평가’ 제도의 체계적인 운영이 그 어느 때보다 중요해진 가운데, 이날 교육은 지역 산업의 특성과 재해 취약 업종을 반영한 실질적인 내용으로 구성됐다.

교육에서는 안전보건공단 대구광역본부 안형 과장이 △위험성 평가의 개념 △안전보건관리체계 구축 방안 △정부의 기업 지원 제도 등을 중점적으로 설명했으며, 이어서 ㈜엘엔에프 안전보건팀 차준혁 팀장이 현장에서의 위험성 평가 우수사례를 소개하며 실무적 이해를 도왔다.

포항상공회의소 관계자는 “이번 교육은 기업들이 중대재해처벌법에 보다 효율적으로 대응하고 안전관리 체계를 강화하는 데 실질적인 도움이 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 관련 기관들과 협력해 기업 안전 역량 강화를 위한 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

As the number of cases of punishment for workplaces where serious disasters have occurred has recently increased, the systematic operation of the ‘risk assessment’ system that is mandatory for all workplaces has become more important than ever. Accordingly, the training on this day consisted of practical content that reflected the characteristics of local industries and disaster-prone industries.

In the training, Manager Ahn Hyeong of the Daegu Metropolitan Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency focused on explaining the concept of risk assessment, safety and health management system establishment plan, and the government’s corporate support system. Then, Team Leader Cha Jun-hyeok of the LNF Safety and Health Team introduced best practices for risk assessment in the field to help with practical understanding.

An official from the Pohang Chamber of Commerce and Industry said, “This training will be of practical help to companies in responding more efficiently to the Serious Disaster Punishment Act and strengthening their safety management systems,” and added, “We will continue to cooperate with related organizations to continuously promote various programs to strengthen corporate safety capabilities.”
