【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=경상북도안동의료원(원장 이국현)은 국민건강보험공단 안동청송영양지사와 공동으로 6월 17일 안동의료원 본관 6층 대회의장에서 ‘2025년 제1차 재활의료 및 지속관리 협력사업 실무자 역량강화 교육’을 성공적으로 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 안동시 소재 노인장기요양기관 종사자 약 50명을 대상으로 진행됐다. 교육 과정은 낙상 예방과 대응법, 욕창 예방 및 관리 방법 등 노인 돌봄에 필수적인 내용을 중심으로, 현장 사례를 바탕으로 한 시연형 실무 교육으로 구성되어 참가자들의 높은 호응을 얻었다.

특히 키스톤아동발달연구소 김재현 팀장(물리치료사)이 강의를 맡아, 실제 요양 현장에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 사례를 제시하며 실질적이고 현장 적용이 가능한 대응법을 소개했다. 이를 통해 참석자들은 교육 내용을 곧바로 현장 업무에 활용할 수 있는 실질적인 역량을 키울 수 있었다.

이국현 안동의료원장은 “현장에서 노력을 아끼지 않는 요양기관 종사자분들에게 이번 교육이 실질적인 도움이 되었기를 바란다”며, “앞으로도 건강보험공단 안동청송영양지사와 협력하여 지역사회의 보건복지 향상을 위해 필요한 교육과 지원을 지속하겠다”고 전했다.

한편, 경상북도안동의료원은 2020년 보건복지부로부터 지역책임의료기관으로 지정된 이후 안동권(안동·의성·청송·영양) 내 재활의료, 지속관리 협력사업, 중증응급이송 및 진료협력, 퇴원환자 지역사회 연계, 취약계층 지원 등 다양한 통합 의료사업을 통해 지역 보건복지 향상에 앞장서고 있다.

Gyeongbuk Andong Medical Center Completes Capacity Building Training for Workers at Long-Term Care Facilities for the Elderly

Gyeongbuk Andong Medical Center (Director Lee Gook-hyun) announced that it successfully held the ‘2025 First Rehabilitation Medical and Continuing Care Cooperation Project Capacity Building Training for Workers’ in collaboration with the Andong Cheongsong Yeongyang Branch of the National Health Insurance Corporation on June 17th at the conference room on the 6th floor of the Andong Medical Center main building.

This training was conducted for approximately 50 workers at long-term care facilities for the elderly located in Andong City. The training course focused on essential contents for elderly care such as fall prevention and response methods, bedsore prevention and management methods, and consisted of demonstration-type practical training based on field cases, which received a great response from the participants.

In particular, Team Leader Kim Jae-hyun (physical therapist) of the Keystone Child Development Research Institute took charge of the lecture, presenting various cases that can occur in actual care settings and introducing practical and field-applicable response methods. Through this, the participants were able to develop practical capabilities that could immediately apply the training content to their field work.

Lee Gook-hyun, the director of Andong Medical Center, said, “I hope that this training was of practical help to the nursing facility workers who spare no effort in the field,” and added, “We will continue to cooperate with the Andong Cheongsong Yeongyang Branch of the National Health Insurance Service to provide necessary training and support to improve the health and welfare of the local community.”

Meanwhile, Gyeongsangbuk-do Andong Medical Center has been leading the way in improving local health and welfare through various integrated medical projects such as rehabilitation medicine, continuous management cooperation projects, severe emergency transport and treatment cooperation, community linkage for discharged patients, and support for vulnerable groups in the Andong area (Andong, Uiseong, Cheongsong, and Yeongyang) since being designated as a regional responsible medical institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2020.
