【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회(의장 김경도)는 19일 제259회 제1차 정례회 제2차 본회의를 열고 10일간의 의사일정을 모두 마무리했다. 이번 정례회에서는 2024회계연도 결산 승인안 및 예비비 지출 승인안을 비롯해 조례안, 건의안 등 총 19건의 안건이 처리됐다.
이날 본회의에서는 손광영 의원과 김순중 의원이 집행부를 상대로 주요 시정 현안에 대한 시정질문을 진행하며 정책적 개선 방향을 제시했다.
집행부가 제출한 ▲2024회계연도 결산 승인안 ▲2024회계연도 예비비 지출 승인안 ▲안동시 엄마까투리 상상놀이터 민간위탁 동의안 등 8건의 안건은 모두 원안 가결됐다.
의원 발의로 상정된 조례안도 다수 처리됐다. ▲안동시 무장애 관광환경 조성 및 지원 조례안 ▲전기통신금융사기 피해 예방에 관한 조례안 ▲주민참여예산제 운영 조례 전부개정조례안 ▲주차장 조례 일부개정조례안 ▲중증장애인생산품 우선구매 촉진 조례안 ▲장애인기업활동 지원 조례 일부개정조례안 등 6건이 원안 가결되었으며, ▲기업 및 투자유치 촉진 조례 일부개정조례안은 위원회 수정안을 반영해 수정 가결됐다.
특히 이번 본회의에서는 손광영 의원 외 16명이 공동 발의한 ‘낙동강 및 안동댐 상류 퇴적 중금속 정화를 위한 정부 조치 촉구 건의안’이 의결됐다. 시의회는 건의안을 통해 낙동강 및 안동댐 상류에 광범위하게 퇴적된 중금속 오염물질에 대해 정부 차원의 신속하고 체계적인 정화 및 대응조치를 강력히 촉구했다.
안동시의회는 이번 정례회를 통해 시민 생활과 밀접한 다양한 분야의 현안을 적극 논의하고 실질적 대응책을 마련하는 성과를 거뒀다는 평가를 받고 있다.

Andong City Council (Chairman Kim Kyung-do) held the 2nd plenary session of the 259th 1st regular session on the 19th and concluded the 10-day agenda. In particular, in this plenary session, the ‘Proposal to Urge Government Measures for Cleanup of Heavy Metals Sedimented in Nakdong River and Upstream of Andong Dam’ jointly proposed by Assemblyman Son Gwang-yeong and 16 others was passed. Through the proposal, the city council strongly urged the government to take prompt and systematic measures to cleanup and respond to the heavy metal pollutants that have been widely deposited in Nakdong River and upstream of Andong Dam.
Andong City Council is being evaluated as having achieved results by actively discussing various issues closely related to citizens' lives and devising practical countermeasures through this regular session.
