특히 시의회는 “이번 성과는 시민들의 관심과 참여, 오랜 기간 준비하며 적극 대응한 공무원들의 노고, 김정재·이상휘 국회의원을 비롯한 지역 정치권의 전폭적인 지원이 있었기에 가능했다”며 “한마음으로 힘을 모아준 모든 분들께 깊은 감사를 전한다”고 밝혔다.
