그는 1일 자신의 사회관계망서비스(SNS)에 “울릉. 그리하여 피폐와 방황을 갈무리하고 끝내 바다 건너 동쪽 끝에 닿았습니다”라며 “10월부터 울릉군 보건의료원 응급실에서 근무합니다”라고 밝혔다. 이어 “이곳에서 다시 나아갈 길 살피려 합니다. 명절에는 내내 병원에 머물기로 했습니다. 모두 건강히 평안한 추석 보내시길 바랍니다”라는 글도 덧붙였다.
