세계유산 도산서원은 9월 27일부터 10월 12일까지 16일간 야간 개장을 진행한다. 매일 저녁 6시부터 10시까지 서원을 찾으면 고즈넉한 가을밤의 정취와 함께 세계유산의 아름다움을 색다르게 경험할 수 있다.

10월 4일에는 하회마을에서 안동의 대표 가을 풍경으로 꼽히는 ‘하회선유줄불놀이’가 펼쳐진다. 부용대 절벽에서 만송정 소나무 숲까지 걸린 줄 위에 매단 숯가루 봉지에 불을 붙이면 은은한 불꽃이 밤하늘과 강 위로 흩날리며 장관을 연출한다. 줄불, 달걀불, 낙화가 어우러진 전통 불놀이는 관람객들에게 색다른 추억을 선사할 예정이다.
