이번 포럼은 포항촉발지진에 대한 공공의 관심을 높이고 정책적 논의를 활성화하기 위해 마련됐으며, 김정재 국민의힘 의원과 임미애 더불어민주당 의원 등 여야 국회의원을 비롯해 관련 전문가와 포항 시민 등 100여 명이 참석했다.
