‘청소년 행복페스티벌’은 매년 10월 열리는 대구 대표 청소년 축제로, 전국의 청소년들이 참여해 자신들의 재능을 선보이는 전국 청소년 무대경연대회와 다채로운 체험 프로그램으로 구성돼 있다.

올해 축제는 우수 청소년지도자 표창 수여식과 개막 세레모니로 시작되며, 장르를 불문한 청소년 무대 퍼포먼스 경연과 체험 부스 40여 개가 운영된다.

전국 청소년 무대경연대회에는 지난 9월 예선을 통해 총 38개 팀 중 16개 팀이 본선에 진출, 열띤 경연을 펼칠 예정이다. 우수한 성적을 거둔 상위 11개 팀에는 총 420만 원 상당의 상품권이 부상으로 수여된다.

행사장에서는 경연과 함께 키링 만들기, 페이스페인팅, 논알콜 칵테일 만들기 등 다양한 체험 활동이 마련돼 있으며, 체험 후 받은 메달은 기념품이나 먹거리로 교환할 수 있어 청소년들에게 즐거운 참여형 축제가 될 전망이다.

박윤희 대구시 청년여성교육국장은 “이번 청소년 행복페스티벌을 통해 전국의 청소년들이 한자리에 모여 다양한 재능을 뽐내고, 지역 청소년들이 학업 스트레스를 날리며 마음껏 즐길 수 있는 행복한 주말 축제가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

A total of 38 teams participated in the preliminary rounds for the National Youth Stage Competition in September. Sixteen teams advanced to the finals, where fierce competition awaits. The top 11 teams with outstanding performances will receive a total of 4.2 million won worth of gift certificates.

Along with the competitions, the event will feature a variety of hands-on activities, including keychain making, face painting, and non-alcoholic cocktail making. Medals earned after each activity can be exchanged for souvenirs and snacks, making this an enjoyable and interactive festival for young people.
