이번 경진대회는 대구시와 구·군, 공공기관에서 적극적인 업무 추진으로 시민이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 달성한 우수사례를 발굴·공유하는 자리로, 공직 내 적극행정과 혁신 문화 확산을 위해 마련됐다.

올해는 1차 서면심사를 통과한 10개의 우수사례(적극행정 5, 시정혁신 5)에 대해 온라인 시민투표를 실시하고, 전문가와 시민평가단의 현장 심사를 거쳐 분야별 최종 순위를 확정했다.

그 결과, 적극행정 분야에서는 ▲‘전국최초! 교동음식물 수거 실명제로 악취도 잡고 시민의 마음도 잡다’(중구 환경과), 시정혁신 분야에서는 ▲‘교통비 반값, 대구·경북 하나로 잇다’(대구시 버스운영과)가 각각 최우수 사례로 선정됐다.

적극행정 분야 최우수 사례는 음식물 수거 용기에 업소의 간판 이미지를 활용한 실명제 스티커를 부착해 관리함으로써, 시민들의 보행 불편과 악취 문제를 동시에 개선한 점이 높이 평가받았다.

시정혁신 분야 최우수 사례는 대경선 개통을 계기로 대구·경북 9개 지자체와 13개 운송기관, 민간 요금 정산사가 협력해 환승 통합요금제를 구축·추진한 결과, 시행 6개월 만에 통행량 11만 건 증가, 환승 건수 10% 이상 증가 등 가시적인 성과를 거둔 점이 주목받았다.

수상기관에는 시장상과 시상금이 수여되며, 수상자에게는 성과상여금 최고 등급 등 특별 인사 인센티브가 부여된다.

The best practice in the municipal innovation category was highlighted for the collaboration between nine local governments in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, 13 transportation agencies, and private fare settlement companies to develop and implement an integrated transfer fare system following the opening of the Daegyeong Line. This resulted in tangible results, including an increase of 110,000 trips and a more than 10% increase in transfers within six months of implementation.

Furthermore, the best practice in the proactive administration category was ▲ "Where is parking available now? The winning organizations will receive the Mayor's Award and a cash prize, and the winners will receive special personnel incentives, including the highest level of performance bonuses.

Acting Daegu Metropolitan Mayor Kim Jeong-gi stated, "I hope that this competition will broadly spread these excellent practices across the city administration, creating tangible changes for citizens."
