【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=코레일 경북본부(본부장 박찬조)는 11월 4일 봉화군 분천역 산타우체국에서 국립청소년미래환경센터와 청소년 특화 프로그램 개발 및 지역 활성화 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 청소년의 균형 있는 성장과 지역사회 활성화를 목표로 추진되었으며, 주요 협력 내용은 ▲철도 연계 청소년 특화 프로그램 개발 및 운영 ▲지역 활성화를 위한 공동사업 추진 및 홍보 지원 등이다.

양 기관은 이번 협약을 계기로 전국 청소년을 대상으로 기차여행을 접목한 체험형 프로그램을 개발·운영하고, 분천역 테마역과 지역 축제를 연계한 홍보활동 등 지역경제 활성화 사업을 함께 추진할 계획이다.

국립청소년미래환경센터는 한국청소년활동진흥원이 운영하는 국립 청소년 수련시설로, 기후변화 대응과 생태체험 중심의 환경교육을 전문적으로 수행하고 있다.

박찬조 코레일 경북본부장은 “이번 협약을 통해 청소년들에게 특별한 철도 체험의 기회를 제공하고, 지역사회에도 새로운 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대한다”며 “지속가능한 철도 연계 활동을 위해 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

 KORAIL Gyeongbuk Headquarters Signs MOU with National Youth Future Environment Center

KORAIL Gyeongbuk Headquarters (Director Park Chan-jo) announced on November 4th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Youth Future Environment Center at the Santa Post Office at Buncheon Station in Bonghwa County to develop youth-specific programs and collaborate on regional revitalization.

The National Youth Future Environment Center is a national youth training facility operated by the Korea Youth Activities Promotion Agency. It specializes in environmental education focused on climate change response and ecological experiences.
