【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구한의대학교 글로컬대학30사업단(총장 변창훈)은 최근 오성캠퍼스에서 지역 기업과의 공동 연구개발을 활성화하기 위한 ‘산학공동기술개발과제 협약식’을 개최했다.

이번 협약식은 사업 소개를 시작으로 △사업단–연구책임자–참여기업 간 3자 협약 체결 △과제 오리엔테이션 등의 순서로 진행됐다.

‘산학공동기술개발과제’는 K-MEDI 특화분야별 지산학연 협력체계를 통해 지역 산업의 연구개발을 촉진하기 위한 사업으로, 총 20개 과제(총사업비 10억 원)가 선정됐다.

이 사업에는 지역 기업 20개사와 함께 한국뇌연구원, 대구경북첨단의료산업진흥재단, 경북테크노파크 등 유관기관, 그리고 대학 교수진 및 공동연구원 40여 명이 참여한다.

사업단은 이번 과제를 통해 지역 특화산업과 연계한 소재 발굴·시제품 개발·기술사업화·애로기술 해결 등을 추진하며, 이를 기반으로 글로벌 시장 진출의 발판을 마련할 계획이다.

또한 기업의 성장뿐 아니라 학생들의 실무 역량 강화를 위해 학생 연구원 제도를 운영, 연구개발 과정에 학생들이 직접 참여해 학습한 이론을 실제 산업 현장에 적용할 수 있도록 지원한다.

이번 사업은 특허 출원 18건, 국내외 논문 11편, 기술이전 20건, 시제품 제작 20건 등의 성과 목표를 설정하고 있다.

K-MEDI융합산업기술원 박수진 원장은 “글로컬대학30사업을 통해 지역사회와 강소기업이 연계하여 지산학연 협력 생태계를 강화하고, 기술이전과 지역문제 해결로 사회적 가치를 창출하고자 한다”며“특히 경산·청도·영덕 등 지역 기업들과 협력해 지역 자원을 활용한 제품개발로 상생 모델을 만들고, 앞으로 연차별로 참여 기업과 사업 규모를 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

 Daegu Haany University Partners with Local Companies to Promote 'Industry-Academia Joint Technology Development Project'

Daegu Haany University's Glocal University 30 Project Group (President Byun Chang-hoon) recently held an 'Industry-Academia Joint Technology Development Project Agreement Ceremony' at the Oseong Campus to promote joint research and development with local companies.

The signing ceremony began with an introduction to the project, followed by a three-party agreement signing between the project group, research directors, and participating companies, and a project orientation.

The 'Industry-Academia Joint Technology Development Project' aims to promote research and development in local industries through a collaborative system among industry, academia, and research institutes in specialized K-MEDI fields. A total of 20 projects (total budget of 1 billion won) were selected.

This project involves 20 local companies, related organizations such as the Korea Brain Research Institute, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation, and Gyeongbuk Technopark, as well as approximately 40 university faculty and collaborating researchers.

Through this project, the project team plans to promote material discovery, prototype development, technology commercialization, and resolution of technical challenges in conjunction with specialized local industries. This will serve as a foundation for entry into the global market.

Furthermore, to enhance students' practical skills while fostering corporate growth, a student researcher program will be implemented. This program will allow students to directly participate in R&D processes and apply the theories they learn to real-world industrial settings.

The project's performance goals include 18 patent applications, 11 domestic and international papers, 20 technology transfers, and 20 prototypes.

Park Soo-jin, the director of K-MEDI Convergence Industry Technology Institute, said, “Through the Global University 30 project, we aim to strengthen the local academic-research cooperation ecosystem by connecting local communities and small and medium-sized enterprises, and create social value through technology transfer and solving local problems.” He added, “In particular, we will work with local companies in Gyeongsan, Cheongdo, and Yeongdeok to create a win-win model by developing products that utilize local resources, and we will continue to expand the number of participating companies and the scale of the project each year.”
