군은 고령자, 장기입원 환자, 산불 피해 농가 등 인력 수급에 어려움이 있는 농가를 우선 지원 대상으로 선정했으며, 실과원소와 읍·면 공무원, 봉사단체 등 200여 명이 10월 말부터 11월 중순까지 일손 지원에 참여할 예정이다.

특히 올해는 경북 지역을 강타한 초대형 산불 피해와 인건비 상승으로 농가 부담이 더욱 커진 상황을 고려해 청송군 공무원들이 자발적으로 참여했을 뿐 아니라, 자매결연 도시인 대구 달서구의 봉사단체와 공무원들도 힘을 보탰다. 이를 통해 더 많은 농가에 실질적 도움이 제공될 것으로 기대된다.
