【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시는 20일 산업통상부 주최 ‘2025년 국내복귀 유공 포상’에서 국내복귀기업 유치 우수 지자체 부문 국무총리상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

이번 수상은 2022년에 이어 두 번째 수상으로, 대구시는 지자체 최초 2회 수상이라는 기록을 세웠다. 국내복귀 투자 유공 단체 부문 포상은 2021년부터 시행됐다.

국내복귀기업은 해외 사업장을 청산·양도하거나 축소하고 국내에 동일 업종의 사업장을 신·증설하는 기업을 의미한다. 대구시는 2022년부터 현재까지 4개 기업과 총 1조 1,321억 원 규모의 투자유치 협약을 체결하며 성과를 인정받았다. 

유치 기업은 ㈜엘앤에프(2022년/6,500억 원), ㈜구영테크(2023년/873억 원), ㈜삼기(2023년/948억 원), ㈜이수페타시스(2024년/3,000억 원) 등이다.

또한, 기존 유치 기업인 고려전선(2021년/518억 원)과 성림첨단산업(2021년/380억 원)의 성공적인 투자 및 정착 지원 성과도 이번 포상에서 반영됐다.

이번 수상으로 대구시는 내년 국내복귀 기업 투자보조금 신청 시 타 지자체보다 5% 높은 국비 보조 비율을 적용받아 약 20억 원의 시비 절감 효과가 기대된다.

홍성주 대구시 경제부시장은 “대구시가 국내복귀 투자 유공 부문에서 지자체 최초로 2회 수상하며, 기업하기 좋은 도시로 인정받았다”며 “앞으로도 더 많은 기업이 대구에 와서 성장할 수 있도록 제도와 인프라를 개선하고, 원스톱 기업지원을 활성화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Daegu City Wins Prime Minister's Award for Outstanding Local Government in Attracting Returning Companies

Daegu Metropolitan City announced on the 20th that it had won the Prime Minister's Award in the Outstanding Local Government in Attracting Returning Companies category at the "2025 Returning Companies Awards" hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

This is the second time the city has received the award, following one in 2022, making Daegu the first local government to receive the award twice. The award for Outstanding Local Government in Returning Companies was introduced in 2021.

A returning company refers to a company that liquidates, transfers, or downsizes its overseas operations and establishes or expands a domestic business in the same industry. Daegu City has been recognized for its achievements, signing investment attraction agreements with four companies totaling KRW 1.1321 trillion since 2022.

The companies selected for the program include L&F Co., Ltd. (KRW 650 billion in 2022), Kuyoung Tech Co., Ltd. (KRW 87.3 billion in 2023), Samgi Co., Ltd. (KRW 94.8 billion in 2023), and Isu Petasys Co., Ltd. (KRW 300 billion in 2024).

Furthermore, the successful investment and settlement support provided to previously selected companies, Koryo Cable (KRW 51.8 billion in 2021) and Seonglim Advanced Industry (KRW 38 billion in 2021), were also recognized in this award.

With this award, Daegu City will receive a 5% higher national subsidy rate than other local governments when applying for investment subsidies for companies returning to Korea next year, which is expected to result in approximately KRW 2 billion in savings.

Hong Seong-ju, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Daegu City, said, “Daegu City has been recognized as a city with a good business environment by being the first local government to receive the award twice in the domestic return investment category,” and added, “We will continue to improve systems and infrastructure and activate one-stop business support so that more companies can come to Daegu and grow.”
