【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=첼로 12대로만 선보이는 ‘첼리스타 첼로 앙상블’이 29일 토요일 오후 5시, 대구 남구 대덕문화전당 드림홀에서 공연을 연다. 

가을이 깊어가는 시기에 첼로만의 짙고 따뜻한 음색을 극대화한 무대로 클래식 애호가들의 관심을 모으고 있다.

첼리스타 첼로 앙상블은 2013년 예술의전당에서 창단 연주를 한 이후 13년간 실험적인 시도와 폭넓은 레퍼토리로 첼로의 매력을 알리고 있다. 

이번 공연에는 리더 박상민 한국예술종합학교 교수, 김민지 서울대 교수, 주연선 중앙대 교수, 심준호 전 서울시향 수석, 양지욱 인천시향 수석, 임재성 대전시향 수석 등 국내 대표 연주자들이 함께한다.

그동안 실내악과 오케스트라에서 주로 받침 역할을 해온 첼로가 이번 공연에서는 12대 단독 편성으로 음색의 깊이와 가능성을 한층 넓힌다. 포퍼, 차이코프스키, 리스트, 쇼팽 등 클래식 명곡부터 거슈윈의 ‘랩소디 인 블루’ 등 친숙한 작품까지 새롭게 편곡해 관객과 만난다.

이번 공연은 문화체육관광부 후원, 예술경영지원센터 주최의 ‘2025년 공연예술 지역 유통지원 사업’의 일환으로 마련됐다. 티켓은 전석 3만원이며, 티켓링크와 네이버에서 예매할 수 있다. 또 대덕문화전당은 11월 21일부터 23일까지 사흘간 50% 할인되는 프로모션도 진행한다.

공희경 대덕문화전당 관장은 “첼로 12대가 선사하는 묵직한 감성과 풍부한 울림이 특별한 가을밤을 만들어줄 것”이라며, “많은 시민들의 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.

The "Cellista Cello Ensemble," featuring only 12 cellos, will perform at the Daedeok Cultural Center Dream Hall in Nam-gu, Daegu, at 5 PM on Saturday, the 29th.

Since its founding at the Seoul Arts Center in 2013, the Cellista Cello Ensemble has been showcasing the cello's appeal through experimental approaches and a wide repertoire for 13 years.

This performance will feature leading Korean performers, including Professor Park Sang-min of the Korea National University of Arts, Professor Kim Min-ji of Seoul National University, Professor Joo Yeon-seon of Chung-Ang University, former Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Sim Jun-ho, Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Yang Ji-wook, and Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra Principal Lim Jae-sung.

Having traditionally played a supporting role in chamber music and orchestral music, the cello will be featured in this solo performance with 12 cellos, further expanding its tonal depth and potential. From classical masterpieces by Popper, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, and Chopin to familiar pieces like Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," the concert will present newly arranged performances for audiences.

This performance is part of the "2025 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project," sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Arts Management Service. Tickets are 30,000 won and can be purchased through Ticketlink and Naver. The Daedeok Cultural Center is also offering a three-day 50% discount from November 21st to 23rd.
