【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구보건소가 '2025년 대구광역시 지역사회 중심 금연지원서비스사업 및 대구금연지원센터 성과공유회'에서 우수기관상을 수상하며 2년 연속 수상의 영예를 안았다.

이 행사는 대구시와 대구금연지원센터가 공동으로 개최했다.

남구보건소는 이번 평가에서 금연클리닉 운영과 금연 환경 조성 등 정량적 성과는 물론, 2030세대와 여성층을 대상으로 한 신종담배 유해성 집중 홍보 등 정성적 지표에서도 우수한 평가를 받았다. 

특히 2030세대와 여성층에서 급증하는 신종담배 문제에 대응해, 맞춤형 포스터 제작과 주요 생활권 내 홍보물 부착, 주민이 직접 참여하는 캠페인 등 다각적인 홍보 전략을 펼친 점이 주목을 받았다.

이명자 남구보건소장은 “이번 수상은 지역의 다양한 기관과 단체, 그리고 주민 여러분의 협력이 있었기에 가능했다”며 “앞으로도 금연 인식 개선과 건강한 지역사회 조성을 위해 꾸준히 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Nam-gu Public Health Center received the Excellence Award at the "2025 Daegu Metropolitan City Community-Oriented Smoking Cessation Support Service Project and Daegu Smoking Cessation Support Center Performance Sharing Session," honoring the center for the second consecutive year.

This event was jointly hosted by Daegu City and the Daegu Smoking Cessation Support Center.

In this evaluation, the Nam-gu Public Health Center received high marks not only for its quantitative achievements, such as operating smoking cessation clinics and fostering a smoke-free environment, but also for its qualitative indicators, including its focused publicity campaigns on the harmful effects of new cigarettes targeting the 2030 generation and women.

In particular, the center's multifaceted promotional strategy, which included the production of customized posters, placement of promotional materials in key residential areas, and resident-led campaigns, garnered attention in response to the rapidly increasing use of new cigarettes among the 2030 generation and women, garnered attention.

Lee Myeong-ja, Director of the Nam-gu Public Health Center, stated, "This award was possible thanks to the cooperation of various local organizations, groups, and residents. We will continue to strive to improve smoking cessation awareness and foster a healthy community."
