경주시 시정소식지는 2003년 창간 이후 22년 동안 시의 주요 정책, 문화·관광 정보 등을 시민에게 전달하며 공공 소통 매체 역할을 해왔다. 시는 지난해 ‘경주시 시정소식지 발행에 관한 조례’를 제정하고, 2025년부터 분기별 편집위원회를 운영해 소식지의 품질과 기획력을 강화하고 있다.

이번 겨울호에는 지난 11월 마무리된 ‘2025 APEC KOREA’의 주요 장면과 의미를 포함해, 국제회의 도시로 성장한 경주의 위상을 집중적으로 다뤘다. 이와 함께 젊은층을 중심으로 새로운 문화명소로 떠오른 황오동 뉴트로 거리, 국립경주박물관에서 진행 중인 신라 금관 특별전 등 지역 문화 소식도 실렸다.

시 관계자는 “시민들에게 정확하고 유익한 생활·정책 정보를 제공하는 동시에, 경주의 도시 매력과 변화하는 모습을 담아내는 콘텐츠로 발전시키겠다”고 말했다.
