【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국사학진흥재단(이사장 이하운)이 지난 1일 성평등가족부가 주관하는 ‘가족친화인증기관’에 9년 연속 선정됐다.

가족친화인증은 가족친화제도를 모범적으로 운영하는 기업과 기관을 대상으로 서류심사와 현장조사를 거쳐 부여된다. 

2025년 기준으로 인증 기업과 기관은 총 6,971곳에 이르는 것으로 집계됐다.

재단은 ‘가족친화 사회환경의 조성 촉진에 관한 법률’에 따라, 임직원의 일과 삶의 균형을 지원하는 가족친화 경영 체계를 꾸준히 강화해온 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다. 

출산과 육아 지원금 지급, 매주 수·금요일 정시 퇴근 캠페인 운영, 근무시간 선택제 등 다양한 유연근무제를 도입한 것이 대표적 사례로 꼽힌다. 

특히 구성원들의 요구를 반영해 제도를 지속적으로 개선하고 확대해온 점도 긍정적으로 평가받았다.

이하운 이사장은 “9년 연속 가족친화인증을 받은 것은 재단이 임직원의 행복과 안정적인 가정생활을 위해 꾸준히 힘써온 결과”라며 “앞으로도 임직원이 만족하며 일할 수 있는 건강한 조직문화를 만들어 고등교육 진흥이라는 재단의 목표 달성에 기여하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Korea Foundation for Private Schools (President Lee Ha-woon) was selected as a "Family-Friendly Certified Institution" by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family for the ninth consecutive year on July 1st.

Family-Friendly Certification is granted to companies and institutions that demonstrate exemplary implementation of family-friendly systems through document screening and on-site inspections.

As of 2025, a total of 6,971 certified companies and institutions have been established.

The foundation received high praise for consistently strengthening its family-friendly management system, which supports employees' work-life balance, in accordance with the "Act on Promotion of the Creation of a Family-Friendly Social Environment."

Notable examples include the provision of childbirth and childcare subsidies, the implementation of a campaign to ensure employees leave work on time every Wednesday and Friday, and the introduction of various flexible work arrangements, such as flexible working hours.

In particular, the foundation's continued efforts to improve and expand its systems in response to member needs were also recognized positively.

Chairman Lee Ha-woon said, “Receiving the family-friendly certification for nine consecutive years is the result of the foundation’s consistent efforts to ensure the happiness and stable family lives of its executives and employees,” and added, “We will continue to create a healthy organizational culture where executives and employees can work with satisfaction, thereby contributing to the foundation’s goal of promoting higher education.”
